In Appreciation of Katy Perry

Before becoming a successful pop star, Katy Perry first appeared as a guest on P.O.D.’s album, Testify, for the song, “Goodbye for Now” and is also featured in the video here

Two years later, she would release her first album, One of the Boys. The first single, “I Kissed A Girl” garnered much media attention and somewhat a controversy, giving her staying power

Her next single, “Hot ‘n’ Cold” would be on my replay

Not so much with “Thinking of You”

“Waking Up In Vegas” would definitely be on replay though

The next song released would be with the band 3OH!3, called “Starstrukk” off of their album, Want

Not long after, yet another song with another with another artist, this time Timbaland, would be released, “If We Ever Meet Again” off of his album, Shock Value II

She would release her next album, Teenage Dream, soon after, releasing “Califorinia Gurls” featuring. Snoop Dogg as it’s first single, another replay for sure

The next single would be the wonderful “Teenage Dream” featuring a hunk named Josh Kloss

Very few compared to the amount of reply “Firework” is worth, such an amazing song and video

Next track: “E.T.” featuring Kanye West. Didn’t garner much replay from me.

“Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” however, did garner quite a bit of replay, which featured Rebecca Black, Corey Feldman, Debbie Gibson, Kenny G, Kevin McHale and Darrin Criss from the TV show, Glee. Including hunk Richie Nuzzolese

Also, “The One That Got Away” featuring Diego Luna, also got a lot of reply

She would later reissue her album with Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, releasing the next song, “Part of Me” featuring model and actor Lucas Kerr

And “Wide Awake”

She next released the next single, “Roar” from her upcoming album, Prism
