Sometimes it’s important to simply appreciate others who spread around positive energy and really make a difference. In this instance, I am referring to Oprah Winfrey and Million Dollar Listing reality star, Josh Flagg, who have, for different reasons, made a positive difference I appreciate. And I don’t mean this:
There are things me and Oprah disagree on, and that’s fine. Like her comments in this clip, here:
I am bound to disagree with those I may really appreciate, even about key things, like this. Oprah cares about people being their best selves and trying to really inspire others, and I really value that about her. As someone very recognizable and a public figure of sorts, and uses this pedestal to want to make the lives of others better. She likes to start valuable and interesting conversations, with confidence, and displays this care for others out front and unafraid. She doesn’t believe in behaving selfishly when she interacts with the rest of the world, and remains as flawed as the rest of us, as well. Oprah is generally one of the better forces we have in the world.
I was lucky enough to discover (well, Bravo did it first, actually) when watching the BRAVO reality TV show, Million Dollar Listing, Josh Flagg. He was one of my crushes while he was not publicly disclosing himself at that time. That sort of occurrence is commonplace for me, so I make nothing of it.
Josh, like Oprah Winfrey, also professes a desire to see others succeed, such as talking about confidence, strategies, better ideas about work habits, and other things of social importance. He is not simply a reality star, but also trying to connect with others in a positive, meaningful manner. Something we need more of in our daily day-to-day lives. Josh also encompasses a good nature that is really to be desired. This, too, is a way to live in a really good life.
I’ll end this post with another wise and thoughtful person, Bill Cosby:
