I have been a fan of Janet Jackson since I was a kid, when my older half-brother, Chris, often had her playing when I lived in Cambridge.

She rocks in “What Have You Done for Me Lately” from Control.

“Nasty” is fantastic from Control.

“When I Think of You” is awesome from Control.

“The Pleasure Principle” is also fantastic from Control.

“Rhythm Nation” from Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 remains indomitable.

“Escapade,” also from Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814, is wicked awesome.

As a romantic, “Love Will Never Do (Without You)” from Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 never really gets old.

“That’s The Way Love Goes” from janet. is also very good.

“If” from janet. is good.

“Again” from janet. is fantastic.

I never stop listening to “Together Again” from The Velvet Rope.

“I Get Lonely” from The Velvet Rope is awesome. There is a great remix featuring Blackstreet as well.

I loved “Go Deep” from The Velvet Rope.

“Every Time” is a very good song from The Velvet Rope.

“Doesn’t Really Matter” from The Nutty Professor soundtrack and All for You is great.

I adore “All for You” from All for You.

“Son of a Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You)” with Missy Elliott and Carly Simon, from All for You, is s,o so fierce.
