UCMS Went Platinum: Upham’s Corner Main Streets Celebrated 20 Years of Service with Senator Linda Dorcena Forry as Keynote Speaker

JUNE 9TH 2015, Dorchester, Ma. – Upham’s Corner Main Streets (UCMS) went Platinum!

The UCMS family celebrated 20 years of service to the Boston community with a night filled with live music, entertainment, food, drink and a live auction led by City Councilor Tito Jackson. The celebration took place at the historic Strand Theater in Dorchester.
It all started with the community piano, which is stationed right outside of the Strand Theater entrance. A young event attendee walked up to the piano and began playing melodious tunes.

Then a young girl who was sitting around the corner heard the music and watched anxiously. When the young man finished, she stepped up and began playing. Then she was joined by violinist Shaw Pong who was scheduled to play for the evening…
